In this talk, I will share my experience with creating local groups of open source enthusiasts around the world, and specific things that attendees can do to start a local Drupal user group in their area. I'll explain how to get the group started, where to find space to meet, how to find sponsors, and ideas for monthly topics and speakers. I will also share some experiences from the users groups that I have participated in.
