End of June this year we hosted a Drupal 8 Hackathon to migrate modules from Drupal 7 to Drupal 8, together with Acquia team.
In this case we will share how amazing this experience was, the results, its benefits, and also some guideline on how to put an event like that in place.

How this event can help spreading Drupal 8 new architecture, bring new people to the community and evolve experienced developers' Drupal expertize at the same time.
