What Drupal can do for your information architecture needs

Speakers:

Information is what the web exist for. You can build a super fancy menu-popup-harrypottery-modal-responsive-thingy, but if doesn't deliver information efficiently... your screwed.

What to do, then? Where's the balance?

In this talk, we'll go through essential premises to deliver your content better and mix those with the way drupal structures content. You will be able to detect your content needs in terms of relations, taxonomy, search and filtering, suggestions for users and more.

Bonus: we'll briefly talk about the importance of html prototypes and how they can be your best ally vs "regular ol' wireframing".

Is this session for you?
YES. But more if you do any of this:

  • Do IA and wireframing for clients
  • Work as a project manager in your company
  • You're a designer and like to build interactions
  • You're an important stakeholder in your website project (and do care a lot about content!)
  • You're a site builder and want to understand why you do everything you do

Who am I?

Im a partner at Manatí, where we have built complex information structures with Drupal, that can be easily accessed. We want to share our discoveries and how we accomplish goals through the great contributions of the Drupal community and others.
