Daniel Abadie is Chief Technology Officer at Buenos Aires City Government, Argentina. He leads the technology strategy transforming Buenos Aires into a city open by default. Daniel joined the Buenos Aires City government in 2007 to lead the integration project for the city’s Call Centers, building an 311-system based on open source stack. Since his appointment in 2010 as CTO, he has adopted the Lean Startup strategy for city projects, recruited civic hackers to join government teams, and developed high-quality products using open source technology.
